Winter Trails
I've never been snowshoeing despite longing to for some time. It seems romantic in theory to traipse through a thick blanket of snow sounded by a winter forest, though I've heard it's quite the workout. I think these snowshoes would make a fun winter gift, even for those that might be a novice to the leisure sport. Shop here.
Kykuit
Dreaming of this cozy indoor setting at Kykuit, a historic site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Hudson Valley, NY. The landmark was home to four generations of the Rockefeller family, now an attraction known for its terraced gardens, 20th-century sculptures and a notorious barn housing collections of classic autos.

Les Bonbons
Drooling over these beauties! Handmade in India with 100% silk thread, there are a variety of colors in fun tropical shades - perfect to slip on with a caftan for cocktail hour. Love the Raspberry and Mint (above). Santa, baby! Shop here.
Putnum & Putnum
Loved leafing through the dreamy images of Michael Putnum's floral designs in Veranda's December 2015 publication. Putnum's designs are always romantic and look as if they were constructed with such ease. Above is a re-creation of a Federal-style mirror surrounded with bay and olive leaves. Antique delftware ginger jars flank it's base. For more of Putnum's designs, have a look here.
Simplicity
I love following Mimi Thorisson's idyllic life in the countryside of France. Her recent photograph of a vanilla ricotta cream dessert with chocolate sauce and orange zest (pictured above) caught my eye. Simple and a handsome sight for the eye... Get the recipe here.
The Gypsy Tailor
Admittedly, I caught wind of Alix of Bohemia on Moda Operandi's Instagram. Once I started looking at their handmade jackets, I couldn't stop. The brand was born by descendants of an Italian textile legacy and generations of French artists. Each piece is its own treasure, adorned with elements that are reminiscent of the sixties and a soulful gypsy. One of my favorites, military-inspired, above. Shop here or visit them (by appointment only) in the East Village in New York.
St. Frank
Sacramento Street just got chicer with the addition of St. Frank's brick and mortar store front. Christina Bryant, St. Frank's Founder & CEO, partnered with Sway Studio to design a bohemian jewel box filled with a cultivated collection of home décor and textiles. The shop was glittering with eager supporters, customers and collectors last Thursday evening as the store made its debut. Every morsel of the store is one sensory pleasure after another, from touching the luxurious Alpaca Throws, to admiring a framed woven Moroccan textile adorned with metal sequins. (The custom Sway Studio light fixtures alone will make you swoon)! Be sure to visit St. Frank at 3665 Sacramento Street to see the collection.
